It's been awhile

It's been pretty much exactly 2 months since Laura n' I have blogged about our goings on but tonight seems like a good time.

Alot has happened since June ever since we found out were having a little baby.

We went to Texas wher I met alot of Laura's lovely family we had fun and I set off a ridiculous amount of fireworks more than I ever have in my life and they were the crazy highly explosive kind. We ate really good food at this place called Chico's tacos......mmmmmm.

I finished my summer college courses with awesome grades and I transferred over here to RCC Moreno Valley campus where I will be starting fall session in a week. I have walking class how awesome is that LOL.

We've seen pictures of the baby and I have a recording of the sonagram that was really cool to see our little baby it makes me happy.

We've been going to church its nice to get together and get oriented around positive things it really keeps things in perspective. I missed that for so long.

Laura went through a surgery and stayed in the hospital for three days which was really hard on her. It was hard to see her like that for me because I want to help but I felt helpless to make her feel better.

She's out now and laying in bed at home next to me resting. I like to see her sleeping she's cute like that :)

I will be moving out here soon to make things easier. I am looking forward to it and I will miss my little home in Fontana but I am sur I will love my new home much more.

We're planning our wedding but very slowly since everything is so hectic lately with all that is going on. I know that time will present itself for everything that needs to be done.

I'm looking for a girlfriend for Ramses but no luck so far they're all uglies.

I'll let Laura dish the rest of the goodies i'm sure she'll have lots of time being off from work on sick leave.

oH bABY

We found out I'm expecting on June 3rd and are very happy. Now we're just taking it easy and hoping for the best. I'm 8 weeks and 2 days today and our next ultrasound is on July 22nd. We'll just keep praying that our little baby will keep growing and make it through these first rocky months. So far our due date is Feb 5th. I'll try to post an update later cause I know I've been neglecting our blog :)

The Proposal

Ok so now that I have a little more time I will let you all in on the long story. I was dozing off so I decided to call Chris because Ramses wouldn't leave me alone. We talked a little then Chris said he had to shower so we hungup. Ramses still wouldn't shush. It was like he was trying to keep me awake, so I sent Chris a text, "I think Ramses misses you cause he won't stop actiing up" or something along those lines. He didn't respond so I text him again saying "well I'm going to sleep I love you, goodnight." Well he wrote back right away "wait I'm gonna call you in a few minutes." So of course I stayed up and waited. A few minutes later he called. While on the phone I must admit I was exhausted and was kinda zoning out when Chris started to tell me how much he loved me :) well halfway thru his sentence I see a light shine in my room. I sat up and saw someone at my backslider with a flashlight (of course I know now it was my boo.) So of course I freak the hell out! haha and put my phone down (so that this "peeping tom" haha doesnt see the light of my phone) and run out and quietly as I can. Olga was in the living room so I yelled and said someone was in the back. Poor thing, I got her all freaked out too. Well I put the phone to my ear again to tell Chris I had to hang up to call 911 and he's already yelling "it's me! it's me!" lol so I tell Olga it's him (after yelling at him!) and run to the back slider. When I pulled back the curtain Chris was on one knee with the ring box open. The light I had seen was the little light inside the box that lights up the ring :) It was definitely a surprise! a scary one! lol well of course I opened the slider and Chris asked those 4 little words after telling me he loved me. It was a great moment...definitely memorable. My heart was beatnig so fast. First from getting the crap scared out of me and 2nd from the sheer happiness I felt. Even though I knew he had a ring he intended to give to me (another long story! haha) it was still as special as it could be. As you can tell from the picture below, my ring is beautiful. It's like it was specially made for me. We haven't set a date because we plan on trying to take it slow but we are very excited and can't wait to celebrate with everyone. Tomorrow his family will be coming to my parents house for a nice dinner. I'm so happy. I love love love you boo.

BLISS

Can you believe it? I can! I'm so happy. We're engaged and it's perfect. It's a long story but last night Chris came over and I finally got my beautiful ring. I love it. It's gorgeous!...I'm a lucky lucky girl. I have the best boyfriend and he loves me! enough to ask me to marry him. Wow im still letting it sink in.

Crack fox

Hey everyone! I know we don't ever blog anymore so I'm gonna try to update the most I can. Chris and I are still very happy and just hanging out having fun. Chris found this show called The Mighty Boosh. It's the best! my favorite episode is The Crack Fox. I'm obsessed with it. Oh we went to Liz's babyshower and that was tons of fun. I won a fish and named her Aqua. She's good. We were in the danger zone for a second there cause someone put like 18 pellets of food in her bowl :( I still haven't found out who...but I have my suspicions. She's ok now so phew :) haha. My family's here from Texas right now so I've been trying to spend time with them. We've gone bowling and to the movies. Oh and bbqs at my moms. I went to Vegas with them last week but that was blah. I guess I'm not a Vegas person :) haha. Ummm Chris is at Coachella right now and I'm sure he's having tons of fun. I miss him when he's not around. Everyone says its the honeymoon stage but we both made a pact to try and never let that change. We'll see huh? I'm the happiest I've ever been, I got the guy of my dreams.... yeah, the future doesn't scare me anymore.

New Car

I finally got my new Tahoe! after that dreadful scene at Moreno Valley GMC (I'm officially boycotting them) and countless hours of internet searches lol I finally paid a visit to Rotolo Chevy in Fontana. Karen Tom, and of course Chris, all went with me. It was so stressful but I got my new 09 Tahoe and they were professional and calm with me. It was so nice having my favorite people with me. It's helps so much considering I'm such a worry wart and I was soo nervous. It didn't help that I was traumatized from my last visit to a dealership lol. I totally owe you guys for staying up so late with me. Thanks <3 PS: I'll post some pictures of it soon :)

Laura Bear

Sunday we went to little Audreys birthday party at a park in Temecula :) It was a nice day out and the food was good. Oh and we got to decorate our own cupcakes. That was fun... after the party we headed to Karens apt. From there we went to the promenade and visited Build A Bear. Chris made a bear resembling me and named it Laura Bear. I made Chris a bear that kinda looked like him. I named him Donny. Chris says he loves it. On Monday I went and met Vanessa and Arnold's new little baby Arnold JR. He is the cutest baby ever, well since Angelina, and he has banana hands like Chris. I've added a picture of the two of them. That night we went to a show at the Glass House. We saw Cut Copy, Matt and Kim aaaand DJ Knightlife. It was fun..we went into a wine bar and the bartender was a biatch. The wine was good though and they had some cool art on their walls. Pomona is still ugly though. Tuesday I went to home depot and bought a plant to put in my yard we'll see how that goes lol...that night I went to Grees house and watched American Idol. Someone has really gotta hook that visually impaired guy with a haircut. Right now we're watching cartoons and eating lemons with salt. Oh and listening to Depeche Mode. We're cool ya'll <3

Dinner plans

So last night Chris told me he would take me out when I texted him from work telling him how stressed out I was from working Perris radio for 10 hrs. Then he kinda changed his mind when I called him on my break all jacked up from a ft pursuit that was a total mess lol. But he ended up surprising me and waiting at mission grove till I got out of work. So we headed out with no specific plans and decided to go to Napa79, a very nice restaurant in Riverside that Chris had been to once before, but we get to the damn place and it's closed down! I guess people are too broke for fine dining :( sooo we head over to the Tyler mall a cpl exits down the fwy to eat at PF Changs. But the wait was 45 min to an hr which seemed ridiculous considering there weren't even that many people waiting. So we figured the snobby bitches at the front didn't know what they were doing and we left. We walked down the parking lot to The Cheesecake Factory and omg it was so packed we couldn't even see the hostess. So here we go again lol we headed over to the record store down the street real quick and that too was closed down! including the 2 stores next to it. What the heck man people are too broke to buy records but they can still fill every damn restaurant within a 5 mile radius! haha well when i left from there I went the wrong way ( of course) so I told Chris hey maybe it's a sign AND sure enough we see The Dragon House to our left. Chris had wanted to go a cpl wks ago so it was perfect. We got sat right away and our food was yummy sooo it turned out to be a good night :) it's nice to go out on a work night. Oh and by the way Chris bought a peacoat yesterday at Ontario Mills so he was looking very dashing... What a lucky girl I am huh?

Homebound

SO I'm now on the road home :) I had a nice time in Texas. Just relaxing and visiting family. I saw my grandma and she's not doing too well. It's sad to see her sick but hopefully her bronchitis goes away. All of my aunts were their usual loud selves. I met my cousins newborn son and his little cousin who was born 1 day beoore him. Both were so cute and it was nice to hold them. I even got to feed and burp the babygirl. I talked to Chris some and I was telling him how lately I want a lot of the things now that I grew up saying I didn't care for. It's nice to know I'm growing up a lot being with Chris. I'm sure it sounds cliche but I seriously feel like I'm homebound & I don't only mean it literally :)

Away

I've been on holiday for a week now :) I went to New Orleans for Mardi Gras but it wasn't as great as I thought it'd be. I'm now in Texas visiting family and so far it's nice. I miss Chris a lot. I did get to see him for a couple of hours the only night I was at home before leaving for Texas. Definitely not enough time though :( I got my tattoo today. My cousin Lola went with me. It's my favorite Depeche Mode song and the lyrics are beautiful. It means a lot to me especially considering how happy I am with Chris right now. I love seeing my family but I'm also very anxious to see my boo again :) I heart him.

Coronado Vacation

For my Birthday Laura and I went to Coronado Island :)

We stayed in Hotel Del Coronado it was nice. First we ate dinner and laughed at the Brigantine Restraunt then we headed back to the hotel.

We enjoyed the beach together at Night I felt like I was in heaven when we held each other under the stars while the tides came in. I looked into her eyes and found everything I had been looking for.

In the Morning we came back out to the beach and Laura suprised me with a breakfast. Then she suprised me with a little cake with candles I wished and blew them out and we made up a little Chris Brown Rhianna song it was funny. Then there were these little flies that were bugging and Laura said "these little baby flies are going down". I laughed because it was the funniest thing I had heard since the last time Laura and I were at a beach. We walked the hotel stores then went back to the room got ready and checked out at 1.

From the Hotel Laura gave me my present that was in a gift bag that said "Owl Love You Forever" it was Dolce & Gabbana The One!!! How she knew that I wanted it is impossible, but I Love her so much for it was exactly what I wanted. We ate at a nice Mexican Restraunt that had wild birds on the floor for Lunch. Afterward we checked out some of the stores on the island and bought some momentos we even went to Vons :) where an older lady let me have a lucky penny.

We left the Island to the GasLamp district where we stopped at Dicks Last Resort and had a beer (I know how romantic) the bartender insulted us and we insulted her back we had a little fun. From there we stopped by MAC and Laura fell in love with these sparkles. I thought that was cute :). We headed to the Hustler store and looked around. Then we left downtown.

From Downtown we headed to Old Town and Laura showed me around we saw alot of interesting things.We went into the church, alot of the shops, and walked around the graveyard. We walked around and ended up eating Dinner at a Creole restraunt. It was my little Mardi Gras with my boo.

When we left Laura realized we had a flat tire (I was in denial). So we pulled out the spare and changed it together it was a good experience together. We drove home paranoid about the spare but we made it even though I was nodding off cause driving in the passenger seat made me sleepy :). We went to Lauras Mom's when we got home. Then back to Laura's where I knocked out while my boo packed for her big trip to New Orleans!!!!

Santa Monica

Hi boo !!!!!!

On the day after Valentines Laura and I went to the beach it was nice we started on the beach drawing in the sand then we walked under the pier. We won a bride bear at the carnival together. It was nice spending a day at the beach. I always enjoy your company boo.

I am looking forward to seeing you again.

Valentines Day Gifts from Laura

For Valentines Day Laura Made me 2 different gifts. One was a beautiful little scrapbook of photos of us that you can tell she put alot of heart, and thought into. It had a small red lace ribbon tie on it. I have never recieved a gift that was as heartfelt before. It really made me realize how much Love we have shared in our time with each other.
The Second gift was a painting of beautiful asian flowers on branches with a blue bird. It says forever yours. Its painted onto a clipboard and I am not going to use it until I reach the peak of my career. When I do I am just going to put it by my desk on the wall to remind me of my boo.
I wont go into the details of the card Laura got me but it made me want to cry of hapiness because it hit very close to my heart. I Love my boo and I can't wait until later today so I can go to Coronado Island with her :)

Anxiously waiting

Tomorrow is Valentine's day and I am so excited! me and Chris plan on going to the beach and having dinner there. We're hoping it won't rain there :( but even if it does we will be happy wherever we end up. I'm so excited to give him his gift :) mostly because I made it myself..kinda lol. Oh and of course I'm excited to receive my gift from him...haha. I know I know, it's just another day to spend money buuut I love him and to me it's gonna be very special! :)Thanks for reading! hope your Valentines day is grand and full of love too...

Disneyland was fun. It rained a lot and we pretty much froze to death once the night rolled in buuut for the most part it was a good day :) You'd think most of those people would stay at home on such a crappy day but noooo they were all at Disneyladn too! I thought about buying a year pass but I'm not that fond of boring rides and expensive food. The gift shops are cool though. I spent way too much money! but it was money well spent cause the gifts are awesome. Today Chris worked and I finished up his Valentine's day gift at home. I think it turned out very well! :) We'll be having dinner with my family soon. I love my boo.

Roadtrip

Today we went to the morning service at Harvest. Chris didn't care too much for it so next week we are going to try and attend the morning service at Eunice's church. From there we went to my house and Chris met my cousin Christina and her boyfriend Larry. They always crack me up. A while later we went and picked up Eunice from LAX. We were very glad to know she had a good time in Cabo...traffic was light and there was never a dull moment in the car together :) We also had breakfast at my dad's fave restaurant Carminas. Dinner was at my moms. It was nice sitting talking to the family, Nicole joined us too. All in all it was a very good day. Chris goes back to work tomorrow morning and I'll be going to Disneyland with Nicole, Eunice and Karen. I'm very very excited... L+C <3

Sweet Heart

Today I bought my boo this heart cupcake at Jazz N Java down the street from my job. He deserved it since he had to drop me off and pick me up from work. His mom made dinner for us aaand it was gooood. Now we get to relax and eat rocky road ice cream. This is the life!

Ramses and the Lost Wallet

So this Friday Laura (my boo) and I spent some time together and it was great and full of spontaneous suprises.

First I convinced Laura to bring Ramses because I love that little weasel. When boo was on her way to my house I realized I left my wallet at work O_0.

Laura arrived and we spent a little time at my place with Ramses doing a little training.

Then we drove to Montclair to my school with Ramses to pick up my wallet. Afterwards we went to Wingnuts and got too much food :) we got 2 boxes.

Chris & Anne a couple of my friends had been asking to meet Laura so after Wingnuts we went over there. Jessie stopped by because he had an excuse to escape his diaper changing duties. I got Laura some hot chocolate and Chris got Anne some too. We played Rockband and before we left Laura and I did a little Red Hot Chili Peppers Drum, Vocal duet (which she scored 100%) we left because Laura had work the next day.

When we were almost home Laura asked me if I thought sometimes that this is too good to be true... I thought about it and said no. Then fireworks started going off literally in the sky by UCR then I said "Ok now I think this is too good to be true" :)

Fun fun fun

I love my Boo. Here are some recent pictures of us hanging out. The other night we went to Palm Springs with Vanessa and Arnold. It was a lot of fun. We ate at La Casuelas and went on a horse carriage ride. The picture is of Vanessa helping Arnold light the cigar Chris had bought him. That's me inside a hat store. They were all ugly...The next day we watched the superbowl in Chino at Vanessa's parents' that also was a lot of fun. Their baby Angelina is the cutest!

Together since Jan. 25th... took us a while ya'll but it's official :) We hope to update our friends on what we've been up to. We'll try to come on as much as possible. Right now we're having fun getting closer everyday.
